As the proud product of North Carolina public schools and the son of a career public school teacher, Tim understands how important strong public schools are to North Carolina’s future. That’s why he has consistently pushed for higher teacher salaries, restoration of master’s pay, expansion of the teaching fellows program, better funding for public schools, expansion of early childhood education, bolder investments in our university and community college systems, and universal school breakfast and lunch. Every child in North Carolina has the right to a great education. It’s on us to deliver it.
